Description
THIS TOUR IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR CRUISE PASSENGERS
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Puerto Madryn into the heart of the Península Valdés Natural Protected Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its vast landscapes and rich coastal wildlife. This shared Península Valdés shore excursion is designed exclusively for cruise ship passengers, with schedules carefully coordinated to match your ship’s arrival and departure times, ensuring a smooth and worry-free experience. The tour is ideal for guests arriving on cruises such as Celebrity Equinox, Holland America Oosterdam, Sapphire Princess, and Viking Jupiter, as the itinerary is fully adapted to the operational timing of these ships.
After disembarking, we kindly ask all guests to leave the ship as early as possible. This allows us to make the most of the day, enjoy a relaxed pace, and always guarantee a timely return to the ship.
We will meet just outside the cruise port, where our local team will be waiting with a sign displaying the group name. The tour operates in small groups of up to 23 passengers, traveling in comfortable vans and mini buses, never large coaches. During the drive, your professional guide will share insights about the Patagonian steppe, the history of Chubut Province, and the unique ecosystems that make Península Valdés one of Argentina’s most important wildlife reserves.
The excursion includes a stop at the Caleta Valdés viewpoint, one of the most iconic areas within the peninsula. From the lookout point, you will enjoy panoramic views of the coastline and observe local wildlife such as elephant seals and sea lions resting along the shore. Your guide will provide detailed explanations about the species, their behavior, and the conservation efforts that protect this fragile environment, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural significance of the area before beginning the return journey to Puerto Madryn.
This is a fully organized shore excursion, with all logistics arranged in advance. Please note that entrance to the Península Valdés Protected Natural Area is not included in the tour price. However, for your convenience, the entrance fee can be added with an additional cost if you wish to have everything arranged in advance. A box lunch is included, so no other expenses are required during the tour.
After the visit, we begin our return journey to Puerto Madryn, always keeping your cruise schedule in mind. We guarantee arrival back at the port well before your ship’s departure, providing a safe, reliable, and stress‑free shore excursion.
For your convenience, detailed meeting instructions and final timing will be sent again by email or WhatsApp prior to the tour, so you will have all the necessary information readily available on the day of your excursion.
Private services are available upon request and must be quoted separately. We can arrange private tours using vans, mini buses, or full‑size buses, ideal for families, groups, or travelers seeking a more personalized experience.
